it is so funny how life is just whatever. it’s hilarious. life is so regimented all the way through high school and then after that you just do literally whatever it’s all just whatever. you’re like “should i do this?” and everyone you know is like “just do whatever” absolutely incredible. that can’t be real

Some of y’all haven’t become so disillusioned with your own reality that you spend years of your life daydreaming about entirely made up worlds and people and it shows
Why do you think writers isolate themselves? Why do you think painters finish most their projects on their knees? Art hurts. It cuts and bleeds and demands to be felt to the fullest extent. But when you surrender to it, that’s when beauty arises from the remnants. That’s when you can drown yourself in nights of forgetting and reckless abandon. But until then, let it hurt and remember what will come of this pain.
